What does the qualification cover?

The NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) covers the principles relating to health and safety, identification and control of workplace hazards and the practical application of this knowledge.  The NEBOSH IGC Syllabus takes a risk management approach based on best practice and international standards, such as the International Labour Organization (ILO) codes of practice.  Local laws and cultural factors may form part of the study programme where relevant and appropriate.

The qualification also features a practical workplace assessment.

Now, the course is divided into two main areas including old (2014) and new (2018) examination specification as per NEBOSH Board UK.

IGC-03 Book with practical assessment (project) to be submitted after examination. The patter is according to 2014 specification.

 Learning outcomes:

Upon successful completion of the course, candidates would be able to:

Outline the scope and nature of occupational health and safety

Understand key requirements for health and safety management systems

Explain the principals and practice of risk assessment

Outline the principals, purpose and role of active and reactive monitoring

Explain the purpose of, and procedures for health and safety auditing

Outline common health, welfare and work environment requirements in the workplace

Explain the hazards and controls measures for assessing risks from manual handling

Understand and explain the hazards and risks inherited in a particular workplace and to suggest practicable control measures. 

The candidate will get:

As per 2014 exam specification;

01 parchment (marks sheet in 70 working days on announcement of result)

04 certificates (01 master certificate + 03 unit certificates) in 04 weeks after parchment receipt.

As per 2018 exam specification;

01 parchment (marks sheet in 50 working days on announcement of result)

01 Master certificate in 04 weeks after parchment receipt.

NEBOSH IGC Level-03 course

AGT Tech has well defined course modules and training sessions for students as per international standards. Students will be awarded six months AGT Tech training certificate after completion of two months (2 months) training course. If you want to have Cisco Certificate then you will have to appear for their exam as per their fee and exam schedules.
